A Preposterous Alibi is a unique take on the affectionate detective duo featuring young companions Evelyn Winslow and Flora Fitzgerald. It takes place in 1928 during the seemingly carefree time between the wars and is sited in San Francisco, a notoriously unruly city where the body of a presumed prostitute is unceremoniously dumped in a Chinatown alley. No one seems to care until Wu Chin Jaing seeks the help of her housemates Evelyn and Flora.
