Great News! A New Book for You!
Good news for you! After years of writing, editing, and many months of seeking publication by others, I am going ahead and publishing the three Winslow & Fitzgerald Investigations mysteries myself. This is good news for you because you’ll finally be able to read these stories. The first is:
A Preposterous Alibi is a unique take on the affectionate detective duo. This historical mystery features young companions and sleuths Evelyn Winslow and Flora Fitzgerald and takes place in 1928 during the seemingly carefree time between the wars. It is sited in San Francisco, a notoriously unruly city where the body of a presumed prostitute is unceremoniously dumped in a Chinatown alley. No one seems to care until Wu Chin Jaing seeks the help of her housemates Evelyn and Flora.
Bringing their quick wits, strong wills, and brave hearts, the young schoolteachers and sleuths step up to piece together the puzzle of the identity of both the victim and her killer.
A Preposterous Alibi was named a Finalist in the 2022 Best Historical Mystery Claymore Award at the Killer Nashville mystery conference.
You will be the first to know when this title is available for purchase no later than May 1st.
Lastly, and most importantly, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to a member of this group, Diane Cummings, who answered my call for a beta reader and gave me some great feedback on another book in this series. Thank you, Diane!
And thanks to all for your encouragement and support, Cherie
I am very excited for me and for you. I love all your books and can read them over and over again!
Thanks, Vivian! I hope you will like these new stories.
