Welcome to a new year, and a new format for this News Page. Beginning with this issue, these news posts will only be available to those of you who have subscribed (if you’re reading this, you are already a subscriber).

I had a number of reasons for making this change. Knowing I am posting only to subscribers means I will be able to provide more information, more up-to-date information, and less screaming marketing to you readers who already know about my books. I don’t know about you, but I’ve about had it up to here with the avalanches of advertising we’ve all seen during these last two years.

And speaking of the last two years…I want you to know that I have (mostly) not let this time pass by in slothful ennui. In my next post I will tell you about the three…now maybe four…traditional historical mysteries I am preparing for you. A complete shift away from Estela Nogales, but equally entertaining, I hope.
