Cover Reveal
Dear Friends, I know it has been awhile, but at long last, the final book in the Estela Nogales Mystery series, All Tied Up, has a cover and will soon be released for sale. Here’s the exciting cover:
Who or what is inside the trunk on Grant’s Buick, and why is Shiner so interested? How did the car’s rear window get smashed? Don’t you love a cover that makes you wonder what happens inside the book?
Estela and her friends are back for this final installment in which I have tried to pull together all of the loose ends and unsolved mysteries from the other books in the series. You could read All Tied Up as a stand-alone, but in my opinion you might be left wondering, “What the heck?” in a couple of places.
Book Festival
Now that that one is done, I have a couple of upcoming events where I would love to see you. First, Saturday, October 12th I am invited to be a featured author on the mystery panel at the Great Valley Book Festival in Manteca. The remainder of the day, I will be at a table with all of my books. Please do drop by and visit if you’re in that area. And if you get bored with the books, there’s always the nearby Bass Pro store to tour, really a destination on its own.
The Manteca Book Festival will mark the official launch of my kidnapping, canine search and rescue, forest-fire suspense novel, On Scent. This story is a departure from my usual genre. It was fun to research and write, and is earning amazing reviews. I will have plenty of paperback copies of On Scent at the book festival, and, as always, you can order paper and ebook copies at any of your favorite outlets.
Mystery Conference
March 12-15, 2020 you’ll find me in San Diego at Left Coast Crime’s “Murder’s a Beach.” Those conferences are always whirlwinds of events and activities. I will be hosting another Author/Reader Connection, so watch for sign ups for that.
Another Project?
If All Tied Up is the last of the Estela Nogales Mystery series, you might wonder what is next. The answer is, I’m not sure. Because I am a “plotter,” meaning I finish a complete outline before starting any book, it may take a while for the next project to take shape. The one thing I can assure you is that, whatever it is, you will hear about it here first.
In the meantime, the dogs and I are headed up the mountain soon for our annual trip to dog summer camp at Lake Tahoe. We’ll be thinking about you as we paddle through clear cold water and hike in the pine-scented mountains.
Thank you as always for your support and encouragement!
I can’t wait to read All Tied Up! I love visiting Estela’s crazy community.
And if you’re thinking of me while paddling and hiking around Lake Tahoe, you need some serious therapy, woman. Carpe diem!
Congratulations on all these achievements, Cherie!
Thanks Anara. I love the way we hold each other up!
