Estela Makes News
Today, Wednesday, September 21st, Estela and her friends are featured at Dru’s Book Musings. Click on the blue words when you’re ready to read about Estela in the column titled “A Day in the Life of Estela Nogales.” You can also make a comment to be entered into a drawing to win a free paper copy of Missing Mom. Please share this column with your friends!
In conjunction with Dru’s column, I am also offering the second book in the series, Iced Tee (ebook) for only 99 cents now and for the next week. This offer is available in all ebook formats, and is the first time I have offered a promotional price on this book. Iced Tee is the winner of the 2015 “Small Town Cozy Mystery” from Chanticleer Book Reviews. This is a great opportunity to share the Arroyo Loco series with your friends for a great price.
How to Share. Sometimes you find an internet page you’d really like to share with a friend. Here’s the easy way to share the exact page. At the very top of every web page you’ll see a bar containing a short description. Put your cursor in that bar and click. The “url” for that page will appear in the bar. Slide over to your Edit menu and pull down to Copy. Then open a new blank email, address it to your friend, and add a note so your friend will know your message is not from a nefarious hacker. Go to your Edit menu again and pull down to Paste. The web site address will appear in the body of your email where it will be highlighted when your friend opens the email. This should work with any web page.
Practice by trying it with Iced Tee. Go to the Amazon (or Nook, or iBooks, or any other book listing) page. Go to the bar at the very top of the page and click there. Then go to the Edit menu and Copy. Create a new email to your friend, tell her you like Iced Tee and want to share with her. Go to Edit and Paste and the url will paste into your message, then Send. Did it work?
Thank you as always for your support!
