Time for a quick update and an invitation.
If you are local to Sacramento, please join us Sunday, April 10th from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Central Library downtown for the 2nd annual Sacramento Book Festival. You’ll have the opportunity to talk personally to almost 40 local authors about their own writing and publishing experiences. All authors will also be signing and selling their books. This event is free and open to the public.
I’ve been busy attending these types of events, and also thinking about what’s next on this writing adventure. A fourth book in the Estela Nogales series is shaping up. What would you like to see happen in this next story? I know Lynne Cullison wants more MEN! What ideas do you have about a fourth story?
I’ve also been working on some short stories, and in the last two weeks have gotten excited about a more serious mystery taking place in the Sierra Nevada mountains. That one is taking a lot more planning and research to get started. I’m working without a deadline on both of those projects, which is a bit like working without a net. No promises on when, or even if, those will be completed.
