What’s Up?
Time for an update on this whole writing/publishing adventure. For those of you anxiously waiting, the third book in the series now has a name, Missing Mom, and is on schedule to go to the editor by this time next week. After that, the big milestone will be having a cover designed. Missing Mom is due to be released in February 2016.
If you “subscribe” – see that subscribe button over there on the right? – you will be entered to win the first copy of Missing Mom as it comes off the press, free and signed! Only the first 50 subscribers will be entered, so subscribe now.
A few options if you wish to purchase Fire at Will’s or Iced Tee. Amazon carries both in paperback and Kindle. Barnes & Noble has Fire at Will’s in paperback and Nook, but does not list Iced Tee. Beginning in October, Face in a Book, the independent bookstore in El Dorado Hills, will have both books on their shelves. Sadly, the independent bookstore in Sacramento, Avid Reader, no longer carries either book, so don’t look there for those or any other books by independently published local authors.
Do you have other ideas? Do you belong to a book club in the Sacramento area that might want to hear from a local author? Know of any local craft festivals that don’t charge an arm and a leg to participate?
Finally, if you have a yen to read my grandfather’s short novel, Shuyani, set in South America in the 1920s, Amazon is currently running a sale on the paperback edition, and it is only 99 cents on Kindle.
Thanks again for your support. I have heard a rumor that Amanita wishes to write the next post on this page. Can’t wait to hear what she has to complain… er, say.
I have really enjoyed your first two books, and can hardly wait for “Missing Mom!” These books are so much fun to read, enough suspense to want to hurry to the next page, and start theorizing as to “whodunit.” I also enjoy coming to this site for your updates, news, and educational information. Well done!
I know! What could possibly happen next? Thank you!!
